Why the UK?

Furthermore, the UK has an immensely rich history and culture, which has something for everyone; it has a wide selection of museums, theatres, historical buildings and castles. The UK is the leading country that is constantly developing and collaborating with the rest of the world in relation innovation in science, engineering and law. 

Is it competitive to get a university place?

Most universities have only one intake which is usually in September, some may also have a January intake for certain courses, certain programmes fill up quicker than others, and some universities may have strict application and CAS issuance deadlines. A university place is never guaranteed, however, rest assured your chances of gaining admission is much higher if you through Go Graduate Consultancy.

Is it difficult to get a study visa?

You would need to meet the UKVI requirements as laid down in the student visa guidance, applying for a student visa https://www.gov.uk/student-visa. The most frequent problem international student’s face is when they apply for a visa late, which results in the student missing university enrolment. Go Graduate will try to ensure you get your CAS early so that you can apply for a visa in a timely manner and you don’t miss your course start.

Is it expensive to live in the UK?

The cost of living crisis is a global phenomenon which has affected everyone, and it is true that inner London would obviously be more expensive than the suburbs of England. The transport system in the UK is very good therefore students have wide options as to where to live. International students also have 20 hours per week work rights during term time and can work full time during the holidays; there are plenty of jobs available.

Do I have to leave the UK as soon as I complete my course?

If you successfully complete your programme you will have the option to apply for the post graduate visa route – https://www.gov.uk/graduate-visa

I have a previous visa refusal will this affect me?

This depends on how strict the university immigration compliance policy is, and the reasons for the previous refusal, some universities are more lenient than others, we can help find which ones.

I already hold a masters can I do another one? 

A second masters is perfectly acceptable if this is justified as a valid career progression and aspiration.

Can I change my course once I start?

The assigned CAS is unique and most universities would not permit this, but a change of course is possible.

What if I fail my assignments? 

Students will have the opportunity to retake assessments such as exams and assignments; they may even be able to extend their stay for the purposes of retaking exams.
